My dad's been dealing with some pretty bad lower back pain and ended up using way too much pain relief balm. Now, his skin looks burnt. Do you have any home remedies that might help with this?

I've been having some skin issues, and I'm starting to get worried. I went for a medical test in Saudi Arabia, and it came back showing TPHAVDRL reactive. After that, I consulted a dermatologist in Hyderabad, and they did a biopsy to confirm the results, which were still reactive. They recommended penicillin injections, which I took, and then did a retest 8 weeks later. But, the test is still showing reactive. I'm not sure if this diagnosis is accurate or if it's something that can actually be cured. Besides this, I've had some non-itchy, painless rashes on my skin since around 2009. They appeared when I traveled to the USA. I've shown them to a doctor there, but I'm still concerned. Could there be something I'm missing or should be doing differently?
This looks like Syphilis, penicillin is the drug of choice for this condition and it's curable no need to worry follow as your Dermatologist advised you some cases need long-term treatment.
