View allMy dad's looking really tired lately, and I'm worried because he's been on Metocard XL 50 mg twice a day. His blood pressure has been ranging from 13070 to 15075. I'm just trying to understand what might be causing this. Any ideas?
It is possible that your father is experiencing facial weakness as a side effect of Metocard XL (Metoprolol) medication. This medication belongs to a class of drugs known as beta blockers, which can sometimes cause muscle weakness or fatigue as a side effect. However, it is important to note that facial weakness can also be a symptom of other underlying medical conditions. It is recommended to consult with your father's healthcare provider to discuss this symptom and explore other possible causes. In the meantime, it may be helpful to monitor his blood pressure regularly and ensure that it stays within the target range.

I'm a bit concerned because my ECG showed a short PR interval of 109. I'm not experiencing any symptoms right now, but Im worried if this could lead to any future health problems. Should I be worried about this?
Short PR interval on ECG can be a sign of an abnormal electrical pathway in the heart. This can sometimes lead to a condition called Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, which may increase the risk of certain heart rhythm problems. Since you have no symptoms currently, it is important to monitor your heart health regularly. In case of any symptoms like palpitations, dizziness, or fainting, you should consult a cardiologist. However, for now, no specific treatment is needed.

I'm 20 years old and just had a lipid profile done. The results are attached here. Is it okay to take krill oil and atorvastatin 5 mg together after dinner? I'm a little concerned and would love your advice!
