My doctor noticed an old faint linear scar on my cornea during an exam but said it's normal and didn't suggest surgery why wouldn't they recommend removing it if it's a scar? Should I be concerned about it affecting my vision later?

I have a high prescription of 9.00 and 10 power in my eyes what's the best type of LASIK surgery for me? Will the results last a lifetime, and can this be detected during medical fitness tests like RRB exams?
Your doctor will have to check and see if Lasik will be possible in your case or not. Otherwise ICL may be required . You need proper counselling after detailed check up to select the procedure for you.

I had LASIK done a while back but lost my records if I need cataract surgery later, could not having those LASIK details cause problems with my vision or eye health
Losing LASIK records generally won't affect future cataract surgery, as the main concern is the health of your eyes. However, knowing your LASIK history can help with understanding any changes in eye health over time.
