My doctor said one side of my anal sphincter is too tight and prescribed meds, but mentioned surgery if it doesn't work. Are there other options besides surgery or any tips to help loosen it naturally?

Yes, there are options besides surgery to address a tight anal sphincter. Other treatments include botulinum toxin (Botox) injections, and in some cases, a sphincterotomy may be considered

I've had an anal fissure for a couple of years and currently manage it with a diet low in non-veg and more fruits like apples and guavas. Is surgery unavoidable in the long run? I really want to control it naturally what would you suggest?
While a naturally managed approach to anal fissures is great, surgery isn't always unavoidable and depends on the severity and duration of the fissure. A good diet, hydration, and regular exercise can often help, but chronic or non-responsive fissures might require further treatment, including surgery.
