My doctor told me that I have a weak liver, and that is why I lost 7 kg. But my LFT is normal. Is it possible to still have a weak liver even after a normal LFT test?

A normal LFT usually means your liver is functioning well. The term weak liver is not a formal diagnosis it may refer to mild digestion or nutrient absorption issues. Please find my attached blood report and help me understand the possible reason behind my chest pain and excessive acid production in the stomach. My SGPT level is high, could this be related to a liver issue?

I am 4 months pregnant. In the first trimester I was taking 100 mg folic acid and everything was normal. Due to my transfer I had to change my doctor and she started 500 mg folic acid for me. As a result in only 15 days my LFT report has given me a shock. Here is my report. SGOT 193 U per L. SGPT 257 U per L. GGTP 65 U per L. ALP 338 U per L. Bilirubin direct 0.60 mg per dl. I have always lived a disease free life with no medical issues or medicines till date. Please help?

Seven days ago, my total bilirubin level was 1.8, and I had taken Ayurvedic medicine with a proper diet. But now, my blood test report shows total bilirubin 2.2. I am 24 years old and have not experienced any fever. Is this jaundice? If so, can you suggest some remedies?
