My father experienced severe stomach pain and he also suffers from constipation. Now his pain is almost gone. His blood reports of liver and kidney are normal but the stool occult blood report is positive. What does that mean?

A positive occult blood test means there is hidden blood in the stool, which can happen due to minor gut issues or other conditions. It is not always serious but should be followed up.

I am a 29 year old single female. I have been experiencing stomach pain and diarrhea for several months. I consulted a gastroenterologist, who suggested that stress or IBS might be causing these symptoms. He prescribed Tab Novamcin RT, Cap Imodium, and Tab Revortil. After taking the medicines for a month, my pain and bowel issues improved. However, now I feel a heaviness above my navel. My doctor repeated some tests: TSH: 1.71 CRP: 3.46 mg/L Hemoglobin: 11.3 g/dL ESR: 110 mm/hr PCV/Hematocrit: 35.5 percent RDW(CV): 15.2 The doctor prescribed the same medicines again and added Tab Meganeuron OD, but the heaviness around my navel persists.

I am attaching my report. Please explain what it means. Is there any medicine to relieve patchy hyperemia in the antrum, which suggests gastritis? I have had indigestion for five months, and my stools are thin, and I sometimes feel a burning sensation in my stomach. When I eat foods such as rajma, chole, paneer, milk, soybean and chicken, I often feel stomach discomfort for two days, and my stool becomes loose. Please explain in detail and help?
