My father in law, who is a policeman working long hours, appeared very tired and drowsy last night. He did not have nausea or vomiting, but his temperature was 102F. Today, we visited a nearby government hospital, and blood tests were done. His temperature is now normal. I have attached the blood test report and would appreciate your valuable advice. Thank you.

Fever could be due to viral or bacterial illness. If temperature normalized and he feels better, continue rest and hydration. Review CBC/CRP if symptoms return.

View allI have been experiencing fever and body pain for the last 10 days. Since the past 2 days, I have developed breathing difficulties. My SpO2 is 92percent, and my pulse rate ranges between 70 to 85. Recent tests show CRP at 39.1 mg perL, Ferritin at 215.4 ng per mL, Random blood sugar is 124 mg per dL, Chest Xray done, and RTPCR has not been done yet. Should I start any additional medicines or go for an RTPCR test? I am hesitant to do the test and feeling hopeless.

I tested COVID 19 positive on 24th April and received treatment from my doctor. My HRCT score was 3/25 on 26th April and repeated on 6th May, which remained 3/25. I recovered and tested negative on 11th May. My blood reports (CBC, CRP, D dimer) were normal and within range. I also did a CBC on 14th May, which was normal. However, I still feel a mild fever in the afternoon and at midnight, although my temperature stays below 98.6F, and I have no other symptoms. Could you please suggest why I might still be experiencing this mild fever?

I have had a fever for the last 3 days. I tested for COVID, typhoid, and malaria, all are negative. When I take paracetamol, the fever goes down for 6 hours, then rises again to 101 degrees F. It is now the 4th day. What should I do? I have attached my blood test report. Please kindly help and suggest.
