My friend is 31 and has been trying to have kids for the last 6 years. He just got an ultrasound scan that showed left varicocele. Is this likely causing fertility issues and can it be treated with medication or does he need surgery

A left varicocele, especially in someone actively trying to conceive, could be a contributing factor to infertility. While some varicoceles don't require treatment, if it's significantly affecting sperm quality or production, surgery might be considered. Medications may help manage pain or discomfort, but they won't address the underlying cause of the varicocele

I'm 25 and I've never masturbated before. I'm wondering if this is normal and if it might lead to any sexual or prostate issues in the future. Also, what would be a healthy frequency for masturbation?
It's completely okay if you haven't masturbated; there's no right or wrong when it comes to personal habits. Not masturbating will not cause sexual or prostate issues in the future. The ideal frequency varies for each person, but the key is whether it feels comfortable and healthy for you. If you ever have concerns about sexual health, it's a good idea to consult a healthcare professional.

I'm really struggling with something personal and could use some advice. I find that I'm not getting erections with my wife, but I do with other women. It's been bothering me a lot, and I'm really curious about what might be causing this. Do you think it's something that can be worked on or improved? Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
