My friend had a bike accident 8 months ago and got a brain injury with a blood clot. Even though the clot got better, he still has memory and behavior problems and is on medication. Now he's been diagnosed with a fistula and needs surgery. Is it safe to try homeopathy for the fistula while he's still taking his brain injury meds?

Homeopathy is not recommended for fistulas with history of trauma—best to go with surgical correction after neuro clearance.

My child was just diagnosed with mitochondrial progressive external ophthalmoplegia and they're recommending surgery for drooping eyelids. How bad does this condition usually get over time? Could it become fatal or lead to complete vision loss? I know there's no cure yet for this rare disorder, but I'm really worried about how it progresses and what to expect in the later stages. Can you give some insight on what the final stages might look like?
Mitochondrial disorders progress slowly—eyelid surgery may help vision, but long-term effects vary—regular neuro follow-up is key.

I'm really struggling with cervical spondylosis and loss of cervical lordosis. My MRI report indicates some serious stuff like a C5-C6 disc with an annular fissure and diffuse posterior bulge, and it's even got central herniation pressing on my spinal cord and affecting both neural foramina. There's this hyperintense signal on the left side of my spinal cord suggesting myomalacia. Also, the C6-C7 disc has its own issues with another fissure and bulge, plus a right paracentral herniation affecting my spinal cord and right C7 nerve, again encroaching on both neural foramina. With all this, I get this annoying tingling in my legs and nerve pain in one of my right-hand fingers. Sitting for long periods just makes my entire spine hurt. I'm curious if there's any Ayurvedic treatment out there that could completely cure this. Also, would I be able to handle any job with my condition? I've tried physiotherapy treatments like IFT, ultra cervical traction, and steam for months, which seemed to help for a while. But the pain is back. Should I keep doing the same physiotherapy again, or is there anything else you'd recommend?
