My gallbladder is distended and has a few stones with the largest being 15 mm. I've been advised to get surgery but I'm wondering if there are any effective Ayurveda or homeopathy treatments that could help instead

View allI have a hernia in my upper right groin that seems to be either femoral or inguinal. I really don't want surgery but I've heard it's the only option. The bulge isn't always there it only shows up when there's pressure. Are there any other treatments or remedies that could help heal it? Could homeopathy work for this?

I'm really worried about my mom as shes been diagnosed with a hernia. Who should we talk to for this, and is there any way to manage a hernia without having to go through surgery? Just trying to explore all options.
For a hernia problem, you should consult a General Surgeon. Surgery is the most effective treatment for hernias, but in some cases, a truss or supportive garment may be recommended to help manage the hernia without surgery. However, it is important to consult with a doctor to determine the best course of action based on the specific type and severity of the hernia.

I was recently diagnosed with an intersphincteric fistula tract and have surgery scheduled for next Friday. I'm a bit nervous and wondering what type of anesthesia is usually given during a fistulectomy procedure
Spinal anaesthesia will be given during surgery. You will feel a small pin-prick in your back. The surgery will take 20-30 minutes only. Don't worry!
