My grandma is 60 and has been blind for about a year now. The doctors back home say her eyes are completely damaged naturally, but she wants to explore an eye transplant to regain her vision. I've had 3.5 distance vision for the past three years and wear glasses regularly. Lately, I've been seeing a lot about eye surgeries to get rid of glasses and contacts. I went to a well-known hospital for a consultation, and after some tests, the doctor said I'm eligible for LASIK surgery. They mentioned I could live glasses and contact lens-free after the procedure. But I'm a bit worried is LASIK really safe? Once it's done, will I actually be able to see clearly without glasses or contacts?
