I'm 33 weeks pregnant and just had a sonography that showed the cord around the baby's neck. What should I do? Can you give me some advice?

Hello, 25% of babies are born with the cord around their neck one or more times. Most people hear the cord was around the neck and freak out thinking their baby could strangle. The thing we forget is they don't actually breathe inside the womb. They get their oxygen through the cord. The only way it could cause a problem is if the umbilical cord became so compressed that it completely cut off the cord blood flow. Which usually happens when you get labour contractions,, at that time doctors will monitor heart rate of baby, if heart is is dropping during contractions or Baby not able to headdown our doctor will go for cesarean section, if nothing unusual vaginal delivery can be expected. Talk you your doctor.

I recently had an anomaly scan and my babys heart rate was 183. The technician and my gynecologist both said its normal, but Im still feeling a bit worried. Is this heart rate really okay at this stage?

Hii, at 22 weeks and 6 days, a fetal heart rate of 183 beats per minute is within the normal range. Fetal heart rates can vary throughout the pregnancy, but typically range from 120 to 160 beats per minute. Since both the technician and your gynecologist have confirmed that the anomaly scan is normal, there is likely no cause for concern. Just continue with your regular prenatal care and follow-up appointments.

I'm still a virgin and I'm really curious about what to expect the first time I have intercourse. Does it hurt a lot and is bleeding normal? If it does bleed, how long should I expect that to last? Also, I've noticed I can insert a finger into my vaginadoes that mean I don't have a hymen anymore? I'd love some clarity on all this.

First-time intercourse can be painful and may cause bleeding due to hymenal tearing, but this varies from person to person; bleeding, if it occurs, usually lasts a few hours to a few days; being able to insert a single finger into the vagina doesn't necessarily mean you don't have a hymen, as hymens come in different shapes and sizes, and some may be more elastic or flexible.
