View allI did the HBA1C, OGTT, and TSH tests as recommended by a doctor at Cloudnine. My report shows HBA1C 9.7, average glucose 231.69, fasting sugar 191 high, 1 hour post load 326 high, 2 hours post load 398 high, and TSH 7.325 high. These values are higher than normal. What would be your suggestion regarding diet or medicines?

I am a 47 year old diabetic with neuropathy. My last clinical test showed an HbA1c of 5.9 percent and creatinine of 0.9 mg/dL. At that time, I was taking Metformin 500 mg twice daily, Novomix 30 (18 units before breakfast and 12 units before dinner), and Lantus 20 units at bedtime. Later, my doctor advised Novomix 30 (18 units before breakfast, 12 units before dinner), Lantus 18 units at bedtime, and Transpire M30 after breakfast. My recent report shows that my HbA1c has risen to 7.5 percent, creatinine to 1 mg/dL, and fasting sugar from 84 to 144 mg/dL. I would like advice on whether I should continue the doctor latest prescription or switch back to my previous regimen.
