My report shows HBA1C 9.7, average glucose 231.69, fasting sugar 191 high, 1 hour post load 326 high, 2 hours post load 398 high, and TSH 7.325 high. These values are higher than normal. What would be your suggestion regarding diet or medicines?

Later, my doctor advised Novomix 30 (18 units before breakfast, 12 units before dinner), Lantus 18 units at bedtime, and Transpire M30 after breakfast. My recent report shows that my HbA1c has risen to 7.5 percent, creatinine to 1 mg/dL, and fasting sugar from 84 to 144 mg/dL. I would like advice on whether I should continue the doctor latest prescription or switch back to my previous regimen.
