my hearing has been really muffled lately and i think it might be glue ear ive heard about grommet surgery but im not sure if i need it or if theres other options i should try first

If you suspect glue ear and are concerned about muffled hearing, it's best to consult a doctor or audiologist. While grommet surgery (myringotomy with grommet insertion) can be a solution for persistent glue ear, it's not always the first step. Other options include observation, medications (like antibiotics or decongestants), and temporary use of hearing aids.

View allSure, I've noticed that every time I kiss my partner for more than five minutes, I end up with a sore throat. It's been happening for the last three months, and I'm not sure why. I know I'm prone to tonsil infections - I get them easily from things like outside food, cold drinks, or even lack of sleep. But right now, my main worry is this recurring sore throat after kissing, which hits me within 30 to 60 minutes and sticks around for 4 to 5 days, or sometimes longer. It's been consistent since I first kissed her about three or four months ago. Can you help me figure out what's going on and how to prevent it?
Consider getting tested for streptococcal infections or other bacterialviral causes, and discuss your recurring sore throat issues with an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist or a primary care physician, who may recommend preventive measures such as gargling with salt water, using a humidifier, or taking immune-boosting supplements, and also consider discussing your concerns with your partner, as it's possible that you may be transmitting infections back and forth, and taking steps to maintain good oral hygiene and safe kissing practices.

I'm feeling this weird tightness in the muscles under my chin and down to my throat. It's not really painful, and there's no lump, but it just doesn't feel right inside. It's not constantly there, and I can eat and swallow just fine. It doesn't seem like a typical muscle strain either. Is there anything I can try at home to help with this?

I've been drinking buttermilk for the last couple of weeks and since then, I've developed a cold. Whenever I try to clear my throat, I end up with mehendi-colored phlegm, and if I push too hard, there's sometimes a bit of blood in it. My throat hurts so much that I can't swallow anything. What should I do next?
