My husband keeps getting a perianal abscess that drains every few weeks but keeps coming back. He also has a chronic fissure and some doctors think a fistula might have formed. Is surgery the only option for this and is laser treatment a good choice for fixing a fistula?

View allI'm just wondering if it's okay for someone who recently had an open surgery for piles to eat foods cooked in mustard oil. Also, what are the foods, especially vegetables and fruits, and drinks she should avoid after this surgery? Any home remedies that could help her with the recovery? And is there a way to treat piles permanently without having to go through surgery again?
Yes, a patient who has undergone open surgery for piles can consume mustard oil in moderation, as it does not directly affect recovery. To aid healing, she should avoid spicy, fried, and processed foods, as well as alcohol. Focus on a high-fiber diet with fruits like papaya and vegetables, stay hydrated, and avoid constipation by drinking plenty of water. For prevention without surgery, maintain a high-fiber diet, regular exercise, and avoid prolonged straining during bowel movements.

I've had an anal fissure at the 6 o'clock position for the last two months and been using laxatives and ointments. There's also some external bulging at 11 o'clock, but my doctor said it's normal due to the fissure and constipation. Will this heal with just medicine or will I eventually need surgery? I'm currently doing ayurvedic treatment too.

Can piles be treated without surgery? I'm experiencing severe pain and bleeding during bowel movements and looking for homeopathic treatment options. Are there any good homeopath doctors you'd recommend for piles?
Yes, piles (hemorrhoids) can often be treated effectively without surgery, especially in the early stages or with milder symptoms. Non-surgical treatments include lifestyle changes, home remedies, and various medical procedures. If you are experiencing severe pain, it's important to consult a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment plan
