My last period was on 26 July, and I usually have a 28 day cycle. Today is the 36th day of my cycle, and I still have not gotten my period. I took a home pregnancy test yesterday, and it was negative. Will my period come normally, and what should I do now?

A delay in your period with a negative pregnancy test can happen due to stress, illness, or hormonal fluctuations. Since it is day 36 of your cycle, you can wait for another 5 to 7 days to see if your period starts. If your period does not come, repeat the urine pregnancy test to confirm. If cycles remain irregular, your doctor may check thyroid profile and prolactin levels to find the cause. Maintain hydration and manage stress to support your cycle. A serum BetaHCG test may help confirm the diagnosis of pregnancy and rules out any false negatives.

View allI am under fertility treatment. My last menstrual period was on November 8. I took letrozole from day 2 for 5 days. Follicles developed by day 9 measuring 23 by 17 mm and 21 by 16 mm. Two dominant follicles were there. By day 12 both ruptured. Endometrium thickness was 9 mm. From the next day I started taking Duphaston 10 mg morning and night for 15 days. From that day onwards I have been having spotting. After my 15 days course I stopped Duphaston on December 4. Today is December 12 and almost 9 days are over. My spotting stopped 2 days back but after stopping Duphaston spotting continued for some days. Today I took UPT but it was negative. Is there a possibility to get pregnant in this scenario? It has been 25 days after ovulation. Is it possible to ovulate and have no period or am I pregnant? Kindly clear my doubt and explain in detail about my report. Thank you.

My report mentions that I have an anteverted uterus with no focal lesions, no free fluid in the POD, and no ascites. The endometrial thickness is 9.3 mm. I have not had my period yet. I have PCOD, and I ovulated around the 21st, while my expected period date was the 23rd. Could you please explain what this report means.

After how many days of unprotected sex does a urine pregnancy test give a confirmed result of pregnancy? After how many days should the test be done at the earliest?
