My last period was on 26 July, and I usually have a 28 day cycle. Today is the 36th day of my cycle, and I still have not gotten my period. I took a home pregnancy test yesterday, and it was negative. Will my period come normally, and what should I do now?

A delay in your period with a negative pregnancy test can happen due to stress, illness, or hormonal fluctuations. Since it is day 36 of your cycle, you can wait for another 5 to 7 days to see if your period starts. If your period does not come, repeat the urine pregnancy test to confirm. If cycles remain irregular, your doctor may check thyroid profile and prolactin levels to find the cause. Maintain hydration and manage stress to support your cycle. A serum BetaHCG test may help confirm the diagnosis of pregnancy and rules out any false negatives.

Hi, My period was due on 20th, but I have been experiencing brown discharge since 13th, which continues till now. It is light, occurring about once a day. Should I take a pregnancy test now, or wait until my period is missed?

Is it possible to get pregnant if we had intercourse on the 8th day of my period during a 28 day cycle? I am now 5 days late, and I took a urine pregnancy test when I was 2 days late, which was negative. What are the possibilities of pregnancy at this stage? I am also experiencing PMS like symptoms and white, creamy, non sticky vaginal discharge.
