My left eye has a prescription of SPH 3.00, CYL 3.00, and AXIS 160 with VA 6/24 0.60P, but even with glasses, distant small letters still look blurry. Is LASIK surgery the best option for me? I keep failing the armed forces medical exam because of my eye issues what's the fastest way to fix this? My left eye is the main problem how can I get it corrected to meet the 6/6 vision requirement? Can you review my test reports if I share them?

View allwill the medical examiners be able to tell if i had lasik surgery done when i go for my recruitment tests i'm worried they might notice my eyes were corrected
During a recruitment medical exam, LASIK surgery typically won't be noticeable unless it's recent. Most examiners won’t detect past LASIK unless they specifically test for vision correction history.

I'm getting cataract surgery on Monday but I'm really confused about choosing between Indian lenses and imported lenses. Are Indian lenses just as good or should I go for imported ones? I need some advice to make the right decision
Both Indian and imported lenses can offer excellent outcomes if chosen correctly. Indian lenses like *Aurolab* or *Appasamy* have improved significantly and are cost-effective, while imported ones like *Alcon* or *Zeiss* may offer advanced features like better contrast sensitivity or multifocality. Your choice should depend on your visual needs, lifestyle, and budget—discuss these with your surgeon for the best fit.

Posterior polar cataract surgery requires expert handling due to risk of capsule rupture; it’s not an emergency unless vision is rapidly deteriorating.
