My leg pain is really bad and the doctor diagnosed it as thrombosis. They gave me Fondared 7.5mcg injections for 5 days but the pain hasn't gone away. Now they're suggesting surgery what should I do? Can you recommend a good surgeon for this?

View allI've been diagnosed with PAD and mild narrowing in my ATA and DPA. My left leg hurts, especially in the foot, but my pulse seems fine. I'm on meds like evospirin, avstiloz, and gabapentin, and my doctor said surgery isn't an option because the issue is with small arteries. Can you help me understand what's really going on and if there's anything else I can do for the pain?
Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), with narrowing in your Anterior Tibial Artery (ATA) and Dorsalis Pedis Artery (DPA), can cause leg pain, especially in the foot, even with a palpable pulse. While surgery might not be an option due to the issue with small arteries, lifestyle changes, medications, and exercise can help manage your pain and improve blood flow

My skin has black patches and itches a lot, plus the veins in my legs look bigger and there's some swelling. Is there any treatment for this besides surgery? If I do need surgery, what side effects should I be aware of?
The black patches, itching, swollen, and enlarged veins in your legs suggest venous stasis dermatitis, a condition caused by chronic venous insufficiency. While surgery might be an option, numerous non-surgical treatments can help manage the condition. If surgery is needed, be aware of potential side effects like pain, bruising, bleeding, nerve damage, infection, blood clots, and skin color changes
