My mom had breast conservation surgery and just got her biopsy report but still waiting for ER PR results. The staging says T1N1aMx and mentions metastasis couldn't be determined - does this mean they don't have enough data or are unsure? Also, I read stage IIA cancers are nonmetastatic, so why does it say Mx then? What does this report mean and what should we do next?

I was diagnosed with right breast IDC grade III and am BRCA1 positive. After NACT with 4AC followed by 12 Paclitaxel, I had a bilateral modified radical mastectomy left breast removed as prophylaxis. The biopsy report shows clear lymph nodes and left breast, with post-NACT improvement on the right but some residual disease. Should I keep taking Tamoxifen 20mg after surgery? My periods have stopped will they come back if I stop Tamoxifen? Also, is oophorectomy recommended in my case? My post-NACT PET CT showed an enlarged hypoechoic right cervical lymph node (2x1.3 cm) is this something to worry about or just normal?

Tamoxifen is typically prescribed for ER-positive breast cancer to reduce the risk of recurrence. Stopping it may affect your hormonal balance, and periods may not return. An oophorectomy might be considered in high-risk cases like yours. Discuss this with your oncologist.

I'm a 21-year-old female and I've been dealing with right axillary lymphadenopathy along with central, lateral, and pectoral lymphadenopathy for about 3 years now. I was diagnosed with a 49mm fibroadenoma in the upper quadrant of my right breast through USG and FNAC around the same time. I'm really worried because these lymph nodes have been persistent and haven't shrunk, despite stopping the removal of axillary hair for months. There's no infection in my arms or chest, no nipple discharge, but sometimes I do feel a prickly sensation in my breast. Should I be concerned about the lymph nodes not reducing in size? What could be causing this?
