My mom had knee surgery for a fracture and she has hypothyroidism but we didn't get her thyroid levels checked before the surgery was that really necessary or could it affect her recovery

hope you are not in a lot of pain. What do you mean by saying that your knee cap is thin ? Do you mean that the cartilage is worn out ? You might have chondromalacia patella. Please consult an Orthopaedic surgeon

I had ACL reconstruction with a hamstring autograft where they used a bioabsorbable screw on the tibial side and an endobutton on the femoral side I read that endobuttons are made of titanium and some studies say titanium might weaken the immune system or even cause cancer Is it possible to remove the endobutton later and is it really safe to keep it in long-term

My MRI report shows a complete tear in the middle part of the ACL and a full tear of the distal MCL. Is there any chance these injuries can heal on their own without needing surgery? I'm really worried about recovery options.
A full ACL tear typically requires surgery for a full recovery, especially if you are active or have high physical demands. While some individuals can manage with bracing and physical therapy, the ACL lacks a blood supply and heals poorly without surgery. MCL tears, on the other hand, often heal well with conservative treatment like bracing and physical therapy, even if they are full tears.
