my mom had retinal detachment surgery in both eyes last year with silicon oil still in them we have an emergency at home and need to travel by flight is it safe for her to fly right now i'm really worried about her condition

I've been dealing with strabismus and exotropia for a while and read about surgery being an option. Is surgery the only way to fix this or are there other treatments I could try? My eyeballs aren't positioned normally it's not a regular squint but something off about their alignment. I heard surgery to fix this is risky is that true? What are my options if I want to correct this safely?
