I've had an anal fissure at the 6 o'clock position for the last two months and been using laxatives and ointments. There's also some external bulging at 11 o'clock, but my doctor said it's normal due to the fissure and constipation. Will this heal with just medicine or will I eventually need surgery? I'm a bit worried about these extra tissues I've noticed around the anal area, kind of like external piles or warts. Is there any chance they could turn into cancer down the line? And if needed, is it possible to get them surgically removed?
