My mom has gall bladder stones and the doctor recommended surgery because there are many small stones that could burst and cause jaundice. She also has asthma, leg swelling, and pain. Are there any other treatment options or solutions for her condition?

I've been dealing with black and bloody stools with mucus for about 10 days now, and it's really worrying me. I also get this dull pain in the middle of my stomach after meals and usually see the blood in my stool 2 to 3 hours after eating. I'm having 3 to 4 bowel movements a day with blood and mucus, and it's exhausting. Besides that, I feel really full, weak, and tired all the time, and even breathing seems a bit harder. I've already seen a doctor who prescribed me Enteroquinol and Revkzole, but it's been four days and there's no relief. Could this be something serious? Should I consider getting a second opinion, or maybe ask for more tests?
