My mom has had a lump in her neck for the past 20 years. She does not have any problems with the lump. We showed it to 2 to 3 doctors before, but they said there was nothing to worry about. Yesterday we went to an ENT specialist, and he said that her thyroid is swollen. He prescribed several tests. I am attaching the reports. Please tell me what they mean?

A lump on the front of the neck that has been stable for years is usually a benign thyroid swelling or goitre. If your mother has no pain, difficulty swallowing, or weight changes, it is likely non cancerous. Common causes: iodine deficiency, thyroid nodules, or cysts. Still, after so many years, its good to do a fresh thyroid test and ultrasound. if there are thyroid issues in the reports , then consult an endocrinologist

Hello Doctor, My mother has a history of low blood sodium levels, which has previously caused sudden unconsciousness, and she also has a history of thyroid issues. Today, her blood test shows a TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) level of 4.59 mclU/mg. An earlier test report showed TSH as 9.9, but the unit was microIU/mL. I took medicine a few minutes after intercourse, and then my first period started, but it lasted only 1.5 days. After that, I started having daily stomach pain, so I consulted a gynecologist, who advised an ultrasound. The report impression was excess bowel gas. Later, my second period started but was not clear. Today, I feel like my menses should come, but it has not. My gynecologist advised me to take Amycordial syrup and a TSH test.
