My mom has multiple gallstones with the biggest one at 15mm, and the doctor wants us to control her diabetes for 12 months before surgery. There's also a 43cm cyst in her right adnexa, but the doctor said removing it isn't urgent and could be too expensive to do along with the gallbladder surgery. He mentioned the cyst has a low chance of causing issues later. Should we still push to remove the cyst now or is it okay to leave it?

View allI've been feeling really bloated and full in my stomach lately, and there's this weird pulsating sensation in my abdomen. It's been hard to pass stool normally too, I only manage very little once a day. I tried taking Pan40 antacid, but it didn't seem to help. Do you have any advice on what else I could do or take to feel better?
-ounds like you might be experiencing symptoms of indigestion, constipation, or possibly bloating related to your digestive system. Since Pan40 didn't provide relief, it might be worth trying a stool softener or a mild laxative like Dulcolax or Lactulose

I'm really worried because for about a week now, my stools have been yellow and have mucus in them, and I've noticed some red stains as well. I'm also having stomach pain on the right side, and it just feels bloated all the time. Can you help me understand what's going on?

I've been noticing blood mixed with mucus in my stool and had a capsule endoscopy that showed duodenal and proximal jejunal lymphangiectasia along with small bowel erosions. My sigmoidoscopy also found areas of hyperemia and superficial ulcers in the rectum. Earlier CT scans showed clumped ileal loops, but after surgery, the obstruction cleared though there's still mild wall thickening, mesenteric lymphadenopathy, and a bit of straw-colored free fluid in the abdomen. Could this be IBD like Crohn's or ulcerative colitis? And what exactly is lymphangiectasia?
gastroenterology opinion is advised.
