My mother ESR value has come 72. She does not have any infection. She has diabetes and asthma. Should I be concerned about it? Please help.

An ESR value of 72 is elevated, but it doesnt always mean infection. In conditions like diabetes or asthma, ESR can be high due to ongoing inflammation. If your mother has no fever, pain, or new complaints, theres likely no need to panic. Still, a CRP test and a basic health check can help rule out hidden causes and ensure everything is under control.

Take a CRP Test (C - Reactive Protein) Test or Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test

Her ESR is high, and her hemoglobin is not constant. Her hemoglobin is 10.5 now. Is there any specific reason for the high ESR? How serious is it?
