Hi, I am 37 years old and have uric acid levels around 6.5 to 8 mg/dl with ups and downs. I generally take Zyloric 100 mg twice a day. My test reports are as follows: on 12th July 7 mg/dl, on 23rd July 6.01 mg/dl (while taking Zyloric 100 mg twice a day), and on 18th August 9.5 mg/dl. Creatinine is 1.01 mg/dl.
I have recently lost 12 kg in the last 50 days through diet and exercise. During the last two reports, I was on a keto diet with over 90 percent vegetarian food. I am confused about why my uric acid has risen. I consumed spinach, mushrooms, paneer, cauliflower, and other vegetables three times a week, along with flax seeds, chia seeds, and watermelon seeds. Some sources say spinach and mushrooms can raise uric acid, while others say they do not.
I am finding it difficult to control my uric acid without identifying the reason. Could you please guide me on how to control it and suggest remedies? Thank you.

I have been noticing swelling in my left foot that increases during the day and stays until I go to bed. There is also mild swelling in my right foot. My height is 5 ft 5.5 inches, weight 67 kg, and I am not diabetic (HbA1c is 5). However, my uric acid level is high at 9.4. I consulted a doctor who prescribed Febustat 40, Uprise D3 60K, Supracal HD, and Neurobion Forte. I have been on these medicines for the past two days but have not seen any relief yet. I was also advised to consult a cardiologist. My BP is normal, and I do not have any discomfort otherwise. I walk briskly for an hour every morning, though I am mostly sedentary during the rest of the day. I have been following a Keto diet for almost a year, during which my diabetes reversed and I lost 21 kg rapidly, all within a few weeks. I am now maintaining my weight with the same diet. I would like to get advice from a Keto friendly doctor regarding my swelling issue.

My mother is having back pain and pain in the heel area. She is also unable to move her arms. Is her uric acid normal or increased? Could you also review her urine report? Her uric acid is 5.93.

Uric acid is within normal limits for women less than 6. Arm movement issues likely unrelated, could be musculoskeletal or neurological.
