My MRI shows a complete ACL tear in the proximal part from a football injury and the doctor recommended surgery. Are there any non-surgical options to treat this or will I eventually need the operation?

My uncle who's 52 and works in the fire brigade had a tree branch fall on him three days ago, breaking two of his lower ribs. He doesn't have any other medical conditions. What's the best way for him to heal without needing surgery?
For a 52-year-old with fractured ribs, conservative treatment is generally recommended. This involves rest, pain management, and gentle breathing exercises to promote healing without surgery. A doctor can confirm the fracture and assess the need for imaging and pain relief.

i broke my arm and the x-ray shows a fracture but im not sure if it needs surgery or can it heal on its own with just a cast or natural treatments
A fractured arm can heal naturally with proper medical treatment, often with a cast or splint. However, some fractures may require surgery to realign bone fragments or stabilize the fracture. Whether your fracture needs surgery or not will depend on the type, location, and severity of the break.
