My report came negative after 14 days of isolation. I would like to know if any precautions need to be taken and for how long, as I have a 3 year old son. Also, my mother in law and father in law are at home. It has been a total of 17 days now. Is any medication required post COVID? When will smell or taste resume? I had a mild infection with no fever or cold before testing. I am also experiencing leg pain, dryness in throat and nose, and weakness post COVID. Am I still infectious? Blood tests including D dimer were fine and oxygen level is 96+. Please suggest?

After 14 to 17 days and a negative report, youre non infectious. Continue resting, hydrate well, and eat nutritious food. Mild symptoms like leg pain and taste/smell loss can take 2 to 6 weeks to resolve. No specific meds needed unless symptoms worsen.
Dr. Dhankecha Suggests...
Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test or Take a D Dimer Test Test

View allAbout a month ago, I had a throat infection that lasted for 25 days. My doctor said it was a viral infection and did not recommend any tests. After I recovered, I decided to do a COVID antibody test on my own. The report shows IgG negative but total antibodies positive. I am now feeling fine. Does this mean I had a COVID infection, or can other viral infections also show total antibodies positive? Was my doctor wrong in diagnosing it as a non COVID viral infection?

My RTPCR test was negative, but my husband test was positive. Since yesterday, I have been experiencing mild cough and body aches, but no fever. What should be my next steps?

On day 6 after infection, I did an RTPCR test. Today is day 10, and my report has come back with a Ct value of 22/25. I do not have any significant symptoms now, and my sense of smell and taste are normal. Should I be concerned about this Ct value?
