My SGPT level is 136 (normal range 21 to 72) and my SGOT level is 69 (normal range 17 to 59) according to the lab report. Is this a matter of concern? What treatment should I consider?

These values are raised and can occur due to fatty liver, or liver infections or medicine use. Lifestyle changes are supposed to be done such as low fat food , exercise to done daily , follow up with doctor to check if imapact on lifestyle has improved your health

View allI recently did a liver function test, and my results are: Total Bilirubin: 1.38 mg/dL Direct Bilirubin: 0.37 mg/dL Indirect Bilirubin: 1.01 mg/dL AST (SGOT): 42 U/L ALT (SGPT): 78 U/L Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP): 169 U/L Are these results serious, or can they improve with medication?

What is SGOT? For me it is showing 42 IU/L which is more than normal in my report. Please explain whether I have any problem? It stands for serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase?

My blood test report shows SGPT 75 and total bilirubin 0.87. I am taking the following medicines: Ursokem 300, one tablet twice daily; Silybon syrup, two teaspoons twice daily; Sorbiline syrup, two teaspoons three times daily. Please suggest what I should do?
