My sister has been struggling with frequent bowel movements, going to the bathroom countless times a day but only passing watery liquid stool. She feels exhausted all the time and sometimes has stomach pain. She had knee surgery last year could that be related? What might be causing this and what steps should we take next?

I'm really worried about my mom. She had an ultrasound a couple of days ago, and it said her liver is bigger than normal at 159 mm with mildly increased echotexture. Theres no sign of dilated IHBR or any abscess.
