My skin has been noticeably darker ever since I had typhoid about five years ago. I recently did a blood test, and everything came back normal, but my skin tone just seems to keep getting darker. It's really worrying me, and I'm trying to understand why this is happening and what I can do about it. Could there be some underlying issue that's causing this, even if my blood work looks fine?

View allI've been using this Kojivit Plus cream my dermatologist recommended for my dark spots, and it has kojic acid in it. I've been at it for a couple of months, but instead of getting lighter, my dark spots seem to be getting darker. Is it possible that this cream could be making them worse?

I've been dealing with this dry, flaky skin on my scrotum for a couple of months now, and it's really itchy. I had unprotected sex in the past three months, and I'm starting to get worried. Could these be connected? What should I do about it?
You may be experiencing a fungal infection such as jock itch. I recommend using an antifungal cream like Clotrimazole 1% twice daily on the affected area for 2-4 weeks. Additionally, keeping the area clean and dry, wearing loose-fitting underwear, and avoiding scratching will help with the itching and flakiness.
