My skin has been noticeably darker ever since I had typhoid about five years ago. I recently did a blood test, and everything came back normal, but my skin tone just seems to keep getting darker. It's really worrying me, and I'm trying to understand why this is happening and what I can do about it. Could there be some underlying issue that's causing this, even if my blood work looks fine?

I've had this strange lump near my elbow on the inside of my upper left arm for a few years now. It's about 1cm across, not really visible from the outside.
