My stool is hard and I've had constipation for 6 months. An ayurvedic doctor said it's 2nd degree and doesn't need surgery, but I'm looking for a permanent fix. I'm currently on ayurvedic meds but heard about kshar sutra therapy does it work permanently and what's the cost? Any advice would help

My dad is 70 and has gallstones plus bile duct stones seen on MRI and CT He also has jaundice with high bilirubin and alkaline phosphatase The report says his CBD is dilated to 20mm with two stones - one near the ampulla and another 17mm stone in the distal CBD Can he just get an ERCP to remove the bile duct stones or does his gallbladder need to come out too What determines whether gallbladder removal is necessary in cases like this
