My thyroid test on August 26 showed TSH 4.06, and I started taking Thyronorm 50 mcg for four months. I rechecked my thyroid today and the results are TSH: 5.14 FT3: 2.58 FT4: 1.13 Should I continue the same dose, or is an adjustment needed? My fasting blood sugar is 94 mg/dL. Please advise.

Your TSH has slightly increased from 4.06 to 5.14 despite taking Thyronorm 50 mcg, while your FT3 and FT4 are within normal range. This may suggest a need for dose adjustment, but it is not urgent if you have no symptoms. It is best to discuss with your doctor whether to continue the same dose or adjust it based on your symptoms and repeat thyroid levels after 6 to 8 weeks. Your fasting blood sugar of 94 is normal.

View allHello doctor my wife is 7 weeks pregnant and a bit worried. Her blood report shows TSH 4.83 and free T4 12.16. TSH seems a bit high and free T4 is normal. I have attached the blood report. Are there any serious issues and does this require any treatment?

My TSH is 11.56 as per my report today. I am feeling tired all the time and have body heaviness and no interest in doing any work. Are any other tests required before going to the doctor? Kindly suggest.

I was diagnosed with thyroid issues about a year ago. For the past two months, I have noticed swelling in my hands and feet. I also feel lethargic, always tired, and have difficulty concentrating. Could these symptoms be related to my thyroid, or might there be another cause? Please guide me
