My upper teeth completely cover my lower gums and now some of my lower front teeth are getting loose. One dentist said it's a skeletal issue and might need major surgery. Is there any way to fix this deep bite without surgery at my age? I'm really worried about my teeth getting worse

One side of my cheek looks slimmer than the other and my bite feels off too. I've heard about jaw surgery but I'm not sure if it's necessary for me. Are there any other less expensive options to fix this?
Yes, there are alternative options to jaw surgery for correcting facial asymmetry and jaw alignment issues, especially for mild to moderate cases. These include non-surgical approaches like braces, Invisalign, or dental appliances to address malocclusion and potentially improve facial symmetry. For more cosmetic concerns, fillers, facial exercises, or even Botox injections can help balance facial features. In some cases, surgery might be necessary, but it's not always the first or only solution.
