My widal test report of typhoid is typhi O 1:40 and typhi H 1:160. What does this mean?

These titres are borderline and may not confirm active typhoid. Clinical symptoms and repeat testing are needed. If no fever or other signs, infection is unlikely. Consult your doctor for clarity.

View allMy son Widal blood test indicates that Salmonella Typhi (H) value is 1:40 dilution and is declared positive by the lab. I have learned that if it is more than 1:60, it means he is infected. Is this correct? He does not have any other problems except high fever of 103 and headache, but the fever repeats at four hour intervals.

I have been experiencing continuous headache for the past 4 to 5 days along with intermittent fever. My malaria test is negative, and according to the lab assistant, my typhoid test is positive. My typhoid report shows: O: 1:120 TH: 1:60 BH and AH: Not detected I am confused whether this indicates typhoid or not, and if not, what could be causing my headache and fever? Please advise.
