My wife is 29 and found some lumps, so her doctor recommended an ultrasound which showed multiple cysts with the largest being 17mm. The FNAC came back as benign fibroadenoma. We're unsure whether to go for surgery to remove it or just keep monitoring it what would you suggest is the best approach?

The results indicate multiple breast cysts and a fibroadenoma, both benign conditions. Fibroadenomas are common, non-cancerous breast lumps, and the FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology) confirming a benign fibroadenoma suggests this lump is not cancerous. The cysts, especially a 17mm cyst, are also benign and don't typically require treatment.

View allI've had benign tumors since childhood and doctors said surgery is an option if they cause discomfort. What treatments are available to completely remove them and how much would it cost?
For benign tumors, surgical removal (like lumpectomy for fibroadenomas) or cryotherapy (freezing) are common options. Radiation therapy or radiosurgery can also shrink or eliminate tumors. Cost varies depending on the procedure, location, and severity of the condition, with surgery potentially costing between Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 2 lakhs

I'm feeling anxious about a hard lump I've noticed in the upper left area of my chest, close to my left breast. It feels almost like a bone or something solid just beneath the skin. Whenever I touch it, I'm reminded of how hard it is, and it's got me pretty worried. Could it be something serious? What might be causing this?
Surgeon opinion is advised to the patient. USG of the lump,FNAC and microscopy for mitotic cells , biopsy and complete blood count ,esr and C-reactive protein is advised to the patient.

Is it normal to be able to feel the lymph nodes in my chest during a check-up? Are chest lymph nodes usually noticeable by touch? I'm just trying to understand what's typical.
yes, if they have increased size due to infection
