My wife has a 10mm kidney stone and is currently taking ayurvedic medicine. Can this size of stone be treated with medicine alone or is surgery the only option? What would you recommend for her case?

I've been having this weird leg pain, mostly in my right leg, and it happens right before I need to pee. The pain goes away once I've urinated. What might be causing this?

The leg pain before urinating, especially in the right leg, could be related to various factors, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones or nerve compression; however, a possible cause is also obturator nerve compression or irritation, which can radiate pain to the leg, especially before urinating, and relief after passing urine.

I've been having this really bad pain in the glans of my penis, right when I start and finish urinating. It's like normal when I'm just going about my day, no pain or anything, but as soon as I pee, it's unbearableit makes me stop mid-flow. The pain kind of eases up during the flow but as it slows down to just drops at the end, that's when it hits me hard. It's honestly the worst pain I've felt. I had a UTI not too long ago and took some meds like Norflex, Cyclopam, and Citralka syrup, and it seemed like I was okay for a bit. Could this be related, or is it something different? I've been drinking a ton of water, but its not helping. Also, I'm not quite sure if it's truly in the glans or maybe through the urethra, but it sure feels like it's around there. Any idea what might be going on?

Since the pain has persisted and is quite severe, it would be a good idea to consult a urologist for a thorough evaluation.

I'm experiencing something unusual when I go to the bathroommy urine's getting split into two streams. It's flowing clear and everything, but it's kind of odd. A couple of days ago, I had this pain and sensation while peeing, and the doctor said it was an infection, so I took some medicine and that part seems better now. What I'm wondering is, should I be worried about this split thing, and what should I do about it?

The split urine stream, also known as urinary bifurcation, can be caused by various factors, including urethral stricture, bladder neck contracture, or prostate enlargement; given your recent urinary tract infection (UTI) and resolved symptoms, the split stream might be a temporary aftermath, but it's essential to consult your doctor to rule out any underlying conditions and determine the best course of action.
