Without seeing the actual report, cannot confirm. A Widal test or blood culture is needed for typhoid diagnosis. If typhi O/H titres are greater than or equal to 1:160, it may indicate typhoid.

The typhoid test came back positive, but there is no fever now. Is it possible that the blood test report is incorrect? Also, can typhoid fever resolve on its own without antibiotics? I have been experiencing chills and a low grade fever for more than 20 days. I have taken paracetamol and cetirizine for chills and mild cold symptoms. The chills and shivering come and go but never completely go away. I had a CBC and malaria test done, and both were negative. Today, when I checked my temperature during an episode of chills, it was normal (98F). Currently, I am experiencing chills along with a headache. What should I do?
