My face is totally covered with blackheads and whiteheads, except on my forehead. I scrub twice every day because otherwise I feel too self-conscious to go out. I'm feeling really frustrated about this situation.

It sounds like you have tried various dermatological products without success. In this case, you can try using a topical retinoid cream such as Differin (adapalene) gel. Apply a pea-sized amount to the affected areas once daily at night. Additionally, you can use a salicylic acid cleanser like Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash. Use it twice daily to help unclog pores and prevent new blackheads and whiteheads from forming. Remember to moisturize your skin as retinoids can be drying. Be patient as it may take a few weeks to see improvement.
