She was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 2 years ago. She was prescribed to take Thyronorm 50 and was advised not to stop it. However, now her T3 and T4 levels are within the reference range. Today she had palpitations with quite a lot of sweat. She says she feels better if she does not take the prescribed tablet but she is afraid too. Please let me know what needs to be done. Attached are the last blood test reports.

If she is having palpitations and sweating, it may indicate that the thyronorm dose needs adjustment. Normal T3 and T4 with symptoms may be due to TSH being low or borderline low. Do not stop medication on your own; consult her doctor to recheck thyroid levels. A Thyroid Profile (TSH, T3, T4) should be repeated to guide dose adjustment. Avoid excess caffeine and monitor symptoms until review.

Take a Thyroid Profile (T3 T4 TSH) Test Test or Take a THYROID PEROXIDASE ANTIBODIES (ANTI MICROSOMAL ANTIBODIES) Test

After three months, his blood test results showed the following, TSH is 9.23, Iron is 52.9, Uric Acid is 9.09, HDL (Direct) is 37, Triglycerides is 204, VLDL is 40.8, Serum Albumin/Globulin Ratio is 2.12, and Serum Globulin is 2.19. The report also mentioned urobilinogen, but the value was not provided.

Dear Sir, My mother is an elderly patient with a history of dyspepsia, hypertension, and hypothyroidism. Her gallbladder was removed 8 years ago. She does not have diabetes, weighs around 95 kg, and is 68 years old. For the past 15 days, she has been experiencing pain in the groin area, which feels more like muscle or blood vessel pain rather than joint pain. I am wondering if this could be related to her elevated TSH level, which is reported as 7.8 in her latest lab report. She is currently taking Thyrox 100, Tazloc H 80, Metolar XR 50, Rose Day 10, and calcium supplements. I have attached her latest lab report and the most recent prescription for your reference. Please advise

I got my report today. It says LH level 13.36, Prolactin 28.45 and TSH 5.970. What does it mean? Do I have infertility?
