She was diagnosed with typhoid on September 1, and although her blood reports now confirm that the typhoid has been cured, she is still experiencing abdominal pain. Despite taking gastric medication, the pain continues. Please advise on what could be causing this ongoing discomfort and what further steps or tests should be considered.

Abdominal pain post typhoid could be residual gut inflammation or gastritis from medication. If it persists, further evaluation is needed. Avoid heavy food and continue light diet.
