Sir, I recently did an executive health check up. All my tests are normal except for high cholesterol. I am attaching the report for reference. Could you please advise what steps I should take to lower my cholesterol? Is this a serious issue, or can it be managed with exercise and a proper diet? My doctor has also advised taking Razel 10 mg daily at night. Please guide me

If only cholesterol is raised and all other tests are normal, it can often be managed through diet and exercise. Start with 30 to 45 minutes of walking, cut down on fried food, red meat, and sweets. Lipid Profile should be repeated after 3 months of lifestyle change. If the doctor has advised Razel 10 mg, continue it alongside diet control. It is not serious unless other heart risks (BP, diabetes) are present.

View allI recently had my lipid profile done, and my triglycerides are 193 mg/dL, while the normal limit is less than 150 mg/dL. My weight and BMI are normal, but I delivered a baby 8 months ago, consumed a lot of desi ghee, and currently have minimal physical activity. Could you please advise how I can reduce my triglycerides? Do I need medication, or can it be managed with diet and lifestyle changes?
