Slightly elevated liver enzyme and borderline diabetes. Lifestyle changes needed. Hydrate well; repeat A1c in 3 months.

View allHello, I just had my routine annual blood work completed. My bilirubin was 1.1. Although the lab report states it is in the normal range, being 0.1 above normal concerns me. I have hypertension and take the generic form of Norvasc 5 mg and a low dose aspirin. I am very active, 38 years old, and work out 5 to 6 days a week with lifting, running, or biking. I have a healthy diet and partake in some social adult beverages. Should I have any concerns? All other numbers came out in the middle ranges.

My brother was experiencing stomach ache and indigestion about a week ago, and he noticed his stool was greenish in color. We consulted a doctor, who advised some tests. His report shows that his liver is 14.9 cm long, which is about 4 cm larger than normal. The USG report also indicates an enlarged spleen. He frequently suffers from indigestion. Please advise what could be the cause and the next steps for evaluation or treatment

I am not taking alcohol, oils, spices, or outside food since 20th November. At that time, my platelets were around 46k. Now they are over 1 lakh. Suddenly, my total bilirubin increased to 5. I started a Joinex related diet with more liquids, vegetables, and fruits, and I am still on it, but it is not coming down. Today the report shows bilirubin 6.49. What could be the reason and what should I do?
