View allI'm currently dealing with MDR TB and I've been trying some Ayurvedic treatments. I feel like I'm improving, but I'm not sure what the next step should be. Is there one specific test that can confirm if I still have tuberculosis, or should I look at multiple options? I'm really curious about the best way to track my progress and ensure I'm on the right path.
TB Gold standard test is sputum examination for AFB and microscopy and also Interferon gamma release essay( IGRA).

I'm really concerned about my health after having TB about a year ago. There was water collected around my lungs which was drained during treatment, around 2500 ml in total. My treatment started on May 31, 2016, and ended on April 10, 2017. Now I've noticed that there's a thin and dry layer around my left lung. My doctor said the treatment is complete, but I'm worried about this layer. Can you please advise me on what I should do next?
