Is surgery the only option for treating a fistula and is it actually safe and effective Also can the muscles that control stool be preserved if it's a complex fistula I'm really worried and need some advice

If a sentinel pile is present, it too may be removed to promote healing of the fissure. This may be combined with either injection with Botox or sphincterotomy.

I have a small pea-sized mass that protrudes from my anus during bowel movements but there's no pain or bleeding. Can this be removed with laser or surgery? How much does the procedure usually cost and will I need to stay in the hospital for it?

I've been reading about rectal prolapse and saw something about contradictions for surgery does that mean surgery isn't an option for a complete prolapse? I'm worried because my symptoms are getting worse and I'm not sure what to do next
