There's a small bump near the start of my butt crack that I recently noticed. It doesn't hurt or feel uncomfortable, but I had an itchy bum and felt it while I was scratching. The bump doesn't seem to move, and I don't think there's any redness involved. I'm not sure if this is something new or if it's been there for a while. Should I be worried about this?

This could be a benign skin condition such as a cyst or a skin tag. Without further examination, it is difficult to determine the exact cause. I recommend keeping the area clean and dry to prevent any potential irritation. If the bump persists or changes in any way, it would be best to consult with a healthcare professional for a proper evaluation and treatment plan.

View allI visited a doctor today for vitiligo treatment and they mentioned blister grafting works better on the lips while melanocyte transplantation is more suitable for other parts of the face. Is blister grafting really more successful for lip areas compared to other treatments?
Yes, suction blister grafting (SBG) is often considered a preferred treatment for lip vitiligo due to its effectiveness and ease of application in these areas. While melanocyte transplantation can be an option for other facial areas, SBG has shown to be particularly successful and convenient for lip vitiligo.

My 3.5-year-old daughter has flaky dandruff and an itchy scalp. I've tried using lemon and vinegar, but nothing seems to be helping. Do you think Candid B lotion would be a good option for her? Would love any advice you might have.
For your daughter's flaky dandruff and itchy scalp, you can try using Nizoral shampoo. It contains ketoconazole which is effective against dandruff and scalp itching. You can use it twice a week for 4 weeks. If the symptoms persist, please consult a dermatologist for further evaluation and management.
