Three days ago, I developed fever and body pain. After one day, my health condition worsened, and I am feeling very weak. My Widal test report shows: TYPHY O +1:160, TYPHY H +1:80, TYPHY AH +1:40, TYPHY BH 1:20.

These titres suggest typhoid exposure. If fever continues and symptoms match, antibiotics may be started. Confirm with doctor before starting treatment. Stay hydrated and rest well.

My mother blood report shows S. Typhi antigen O 1:160 and S. Typhi antigen H 1:160. The doctor has prescribed Opox CV 200 for 15 days. She has become very weak. Should we admit her to the hospital or wait for the Opox CV to work? Should the medicine be changed?

My son Widal blood test indicates that Salmonella Typhi (H) value is 1:40 dilution and is declared positive by the lab. I have learned that if it is more than 1:60, it means he is infected. Is this correct? He does not have any other problems except high fever of 103 and headache, but the fever repeats at four hour intervals.
