Hello sir, my 2 year old child is suffering from fever. Widal test report shows O titre 1:40, H 1:20, AH 1:20, BH 1:20. Is it positive?

These Widal titers (1:40 to 1:20) are low and usually not diagnostic of typhoid, especially without symptoms. In young children, Widal is less reliable. Repeat only if clinically necessary. Monitor fever, hydration, and consult a pediatrician.

View allI was tested for typhoid about 25 days ago, and at that time my Widal test showed O type 1:160 and H type 1:160. I recently got tested again, and now all other types are negative except O type, which is still showing 1:160. I would like to know the reason behind this. What should I do next, and what kind of food should I eat during this recovery period?

In my Widal test report, the O antigen reacted at 1:320, and the H antigen reacted at 1:320. The AH antigen and BH antigen were non reactive.

My brother has typhoid, but the doctor prescribed me Tab Cifran 250, Tab Dolo 650, and Tab Becosules. I feel these tablets may not be proper. Can I take these tablets? My blood report shows Salmonella typhi O: 1:160, Salmonella typhi H: 1:160, Salmonella paratyphi AH: 1:20, and Salmonella paratyphi BH: 1:20. What precautions should be taken?
