Today, I received my blood test report, and my fasting blood sugar level is 107. This is the first time my sugar level has been high; two months ago, it was only 80. I am 30 years old and have been using some hormone medications for infertility over the past two months. What tests should I get done now, and does this mean I am diabetic?

A fasting sugar of 107 is slightly above the normal range and falls in the prediabetic category. Hormonal medications can affect sugar levels. You are not diabetic based on a single reading, but it is a good idea to monitor it.
